Dr. Breuer is an Associate Professor of Pathology at the Health System of North Shore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Hospital, providing diagnoses and management of benign and malignant diseases with strong emphasis on new strategies of cancer treatment. Breuer received his Medical Degree from the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Greifswald, Germany, in 1990.

After finishing his residency in Pathology in 2000, he joined the staff of North Shore University Hospital and has been an Attending there since 2001. Breuer has numerous publications in the field of anatomic pathology, and has regularly contributed to the teaching of the medical staff of North Shore University Hospital. He has a special interest in the arts and as the Founder of Frank’s Art Evenings has given numerous lectures on the lives and diseases of famous artists. He has also organized non-profit cultural events in New York City for the last fifteen years.
