Jay Seaver has a total of 25 years of experience serving as a Public Accountant. He is Founding partner of Seaver & Forck, CPAs, a successful business established in 1998, with a client base of over 1,000 clients. His services include but are not limited to insurance companies, medical practices, law firms, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, trusts and estates, employee benefit plans, governmental agencies, small businesses in various industries as well as the needs of individuals. Mr. Seaver holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accountancy from Missouri State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. Currently he serves as Treasurer of Missouri State Parks Foundation which works in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to create and sustain an outstanding collection of scenic parks and recreation areas, and to preserve and protect significant environmental areas and historical and cultural sites. He serves as a National Operational Volunteer in the area of Finance and Governance for Girl Scouts of The USA. He works with local Girl Scout councils around the country to provide training in the areas of financial management and governance as it relates to finances and fiduciary responsibilities. Previous organizations include Girl Scouts of The Missouri Heartland as President of the Board of Directors, Trustee of the Missouri Baptist Foundation which manages over one thousand trusts and $150 million in assets, the Central Missouri United Way which supports over thirty local nonprofit agencies, Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce and the Jefferson City YMCA. He is also a member of the Jefferson City Rotary Club.
